The Inn at Harbor Shores
The Inn at Harbor Shores is a landmark waterfront development located along the St. Joseph River in Benton Harbor, Michigan. As part of the broader Harbor Shores revitalization initiative, the project transformed a former industrial shoreline into a vibrant mixed use waterfront destination through a partnership between Whirlpool Corporation, local economic development organizations, the Cities of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, and the State of Michigan.
The development includes a 92 room, nine story boutique hotel overlooking the Harbor Shores Marina and Golf Course, along with a residential cottage community and public waterfront amenities. Inspired by the natural beauty and maritime heritage of southwest Michigan, the hotel's architecture and interior design reflect the region's coastal character through timeless materials, waterfront inspired finishes, and classic beach resort detailing. Today, the Inn serves as a centerpiece of the Harbor Shores community while supporting tourism, recreation, and continued economic revitalization along the St. Joseph River.
