Marker 1 Marina

Located in Dunedin, Florida, near Hurricane Pass, Marker 1 Marina is a full service marina offering convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico and nearby destinations, including Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island. The marina sustained significant damage to its wet slip docks following Hurricane Idalia in 2023, followed by Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024. As part of the marina's redevelopment, Edgewater provided surveying, permitting, and engineering design services for the hurricane rebuild, including dredging, replacement of the existing fixed docks with new concrete floating docks, and the design of a floating concrete wave attenuator engineered to withstand hurricane wind and wave conditions.

Construction was completed in October 2026, restoring and enhancing the marina's waterfront facilities. The renovated 149 wet slip marina features 70 ADA compliant slips, 52 new Neptune boat lifts with capacities up to 40,000 lbs, upgraded fuel service and utilities, and improved amenities for boaters. The completed improvements provide a more resilient and modern marina facility while supporting continued recreational boating access to the surrounding waterways and Gulf Coast.
